Its function mainly is the regulation of the pressure of water flow during the emptying of the washbasin, in such a way as to avoid that the tensions created by the drain can affect the proper functioning of the system.

Thanks to its properties of regulating the pressure of the drain, it helps to maintain the correct level of water inside the traps of the bathtub, preventing it from emptying.
